ResetPing Support

Include the app version, your iOS or macOS version, what you tried, and the error message. If useful, attach a screenshot with personal information hidden. Never send passwords, verification codes, pairing codes, access tokens, or Codex credential files.

Getting connected

ResetPing uses a Mac to read Codex quota and run Ping. Sign in to ResetPing with your email, connect your Mac, then complete the official ChatGPT authorization on that Mac. Keep the Mac awake, connected to the internet, and allow ResetPing to run in the background. The iPhone app shows quota and execution results synced from your Mac.

Email verification

Use the newest code for the current login request. Older codes may be grouped into the same email conversation. Check Spam and wait for the resend countdown before requesting another code.

Mac appears offline

Open ResetPing on the linked Mac and check its internet connection and background permission. A sleeping or disconnected Mac cannot execute a Ping. If you replaced or reinstalled your Mac app, check the linked devices in Settings before creating another connection.

Purchases and subscriptions

Use Restore Purchases on Plans & Benefits while signed in to the ResetPing identity that owns the subscription. Purchases may take a moment to sync. You can manage or cancel renewal in iPhone Settings → your Apple Account → Subscriptions. Deleting ResetPing or a ResetPing account does not cancel an Apple subscription.

Deleting your account

In ResetPing, open Settings → Account & Security → Delete Account. Follow the identity confirmation steps. Execution access is revoked first; local credential cleanup may remain pending until the relevant Mac reconnects. Contact support if you cannot access your account.

About reset announcements

Public reset announcements are signals to check your personal quota, not a guarantee that your account has already received a reset. Automatic Ping requires an eligible plan, an enabled strategy, and an available Mac. ResetPing is an independent product and is not affiliated with OpenAI.
